Shipping Policy & Liability Terms

Last updated 1 January 2026

Template notice: Liability limits differ by mode and jurisdiction. Have this policy reviewed by a qualified lawyer before publishing.

Delivery times

Transit times shown on the website and in quotes are estimates, not guarantees. Delays can occur because of customs inspections, weather, congestion, carrier schedule changes and other factors.

Cargo acceptance

We accept cargo that is properly packed, labelled and documented. We may refuse, hold or return cargo that is incorrectly declared, inadequately packed or noncompliant with regulations.

Notice of loss or damage

Please inspect goods on delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt. Send written notice of a claim, with supporting documents and photographs, within 7 days of delivery for visible damage and 14 days for concealed damage, or within the shorter period stated in the applicable transport document or convention.

Limits of liability

Unless you purchase additional insurance, our liability is limited to the amounts set by the applicable convention or law, for example the Montreal Convention for air, the Hague Visby Rules for sea and CMR for international road transport, or, where no convention applies, to a limit stated in the booking terms.

Cargo insurance

We strongly recommend all risk cargo insurance for the full declared value. Ask for it when you request a quote.

Delays and consequential loss

We are not liable for loss of market, profit or other indirect losses arising from delay.

Claims contact

Send claims to our claims department using the details on the Contact page, quoting your tracking number.
